You Said, We did

Hello

Thank you for responding to our survey.

After several reports from members of the local community, businesses and councillors about the unnecessary obstruction of the pavement outside the Penrhiwceiber Welcome centre on Church Street, we have acted and started to issue FPN's on vehicles causing these problems for the general public who use these pavements daily. We will be monitoring the situation and we will continue to issue FPN's to any other vehicles causing unnecessary obstructions at this particular location. We are also in the process of liaising with RCT about a more permanent solution.

Thank you for your co-operation.

If you are experiencing problems with anti-social behaviour, or have any concerns about it, or other community safety issues, you should contact your local council or report this to us online. In an emergency, if you or your property are at risk, or a crime is in progress call 999.

Do you need to speak to the police but don’t require an emergency response?

You can make an online report via our website https://www.south-wales.police.uk, send us a private message via Live Chat, or call 101. In an emergency always dial 999.
